I got this sub for my '94 Toyota truck, it's got that little cab behind the front seats, so I wasn't dealing with a bunch of extra space but I was redoing my stereo system and decided I wanted a sub too. I did my research and chose this one due to its size and other reviews that I had read elsewhere. The price is slightly steep but it eliminates the need to make a box for it so it was worth it for me. I bought it and it arrived promptly and I paired it with an Alpine MRP-M500 amp and this thing pounds! I can't turn my stereo up past 35 because it starts to hurt and that's without any bass boost from the amp!! It's crazy, it does rap bass and band type bass with perfect clarity and no distortion even when I turn the volume up to 50. It shakes all three of my mirrors on the truck.
